Tonight Huntington Beach will be hosting its monthly art walk from 6 to 9 pm in downtown Huntington Beach. Over 20 artists are featured in the evening of music, art, and of course, surf.

Tonight’s event will include a live collaboration of four artists at the Electric Chair. Taking over the shop’s parking lot, these artists will have thirty minutes each to add to a giant canvas that will be on display later that night.

Over at the Rockin’ Fig Surf Shop, Chad Masri will be painting on surfboards, and at the Shorebreak Hotel, Jeff Sherman will be hosting a sand sculpture demonstration.

The Art Center will be continuing its current exhibition, String Theory, which showcases large scale works by Julia Couzens and Julia Haft-Candell. Incorporating thread, tape, twine, rope, porcelain and other textiles, the pieces are used together to create 2D and 3D sculptural works of art.
