Mission Viejo Gets a Farmer’s Market

Add Mission Viejo to the list of cities in Orange County
that offer a Farmer's Market with produce, food and
organic products (image via HarrisonKLong.com)
Starting this Friday, Mission Viejo will be joining the cities in Orange County that have their own Farmer’s Market. Located at the Mission Viejo Civic Center, the market will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine, with free parking and admission.

You have to admit, that's a great bargain to go and see what this new market offers: fresh produce, fish, meat, cheese, bread, baked goods, specialty food and gift baskets are just some of things to be expected. They’ll also have vendors there, offering everything from flowers, raw honey to natural oils and soaps. Then there’s the food: Mediterranean, Italian, Mexican, Greek are just a few in addition to the lemonade, pizza and kettle corn they’re going  to have on hand.
The first Friday of every month will have live entertainment, so if the weather’s nice, it’s worth a stroll, but if you can’t make it on Friday, or if it’s too far out of the way, here’s a great list of other certified farmer’s markets.
