The Orange County Fashion Association is calling on local fashion designers to wow the world. |
The event is to take place on July 28th from 4:30 - 10:00P at 200 N Broadway, Santa Ana. Appropriately enough, it was an old American Apparel store. Up and coming designers are being told to bring their "collections, look books, sketches and other visuals." Grids to hang up items will be provided, and the event is first come, first served.
What a fantastic opportunity for the creatives of Orange County. I'm going to have to start tracking the event - I'm curious to see what style people from here would create: preppy Newport Beach or Irvine fashion? The skate/surf casual style of Huntington Beach? Something that pays homage to our ethnic diversity?
The style categories being requested includes:
- Established Designer
- Swim
- Active
- Street Style
- Kids
For those interested in attending, you can RSVP on the OCFA's Facebook page. Good luck!
