Artisan Food & Arts Festival in Irvine Tomorrow

Saturday is the Artisan Food & Arts Festival at
the Great Park in Irvine: learn to cook, bake, and
grow good food (image via Facebook)
Tomorrow at the Great Park in Irvine will be the first ever Artisan Food and Arts Festival, where celebrity chefs, master gardeners and local artisans will come together for an afternoon of “creativity, learning and wellness.”

In an effort to inspire living sustainably and creatively, the festival will have ongoing arts activities as well as demonstrations. Beginning at 11 am, artisans will be teaching visitors how to make your own bread, soda, cheese, and jam, among other things. You can also learn about refrigerator pickling, composting and backyard bees.

But the biggest attraction that caught my eye was the amount of food that was going to be on-hand: along with some of the best known food trucks, (Seabirds and The Lime Truck to name a couple), there will also be participating restaurants such as Duke’s, Clay Oven, Taco Asylum and 118 Degrees.

April 28th, Saturday
11 am – 5 pm

  1. I am curious to find out what blog system you are working with?
I'm experiencing some minor security issues with my latest blog and I would like to find something more secure. Do you have any suggestions?
