Kobe Practices at Jewish Community Center in Irvine

Now that the lockout is over, news in the basketball world has now turned to how soon the players are getting back to practice in prepartion for the short but welcomed season.

While no Lakers have reported for an official practice with their new coach (well, no interesting Laker anyway), the internet was a-buzz recently when Kobe Bryant surfaced to get some training in before re-joining his team in the next few days.

Normally, this wouldn't be a big deal, except for the fact that Kobe chose a Jewish Community Center in Irvine to practice. Irvine? Jewish Community Center? Apparently so - Kobe asked the center if he could work the court for a private training session that lasted over an hour.

So has Kobe gotten rusty with all this time off? Judge for yourself - but be warned, it's taken from way up in the nosebleed seats. Better wait until Christmas to see #24 on TV again...
