Someone in Anaheim is $61 Million Richer

A trip to the 7-Eleven to buy a lotto ticket just turned out
to be the best decision someone's ever made.

The Orange County Register is reporting that a winning lotto ticket worth $61 million was sold in Anaheim, at the 7-Eleven on 1685 W. Katella Ave.

The store, opened eighteen months ago, has up until now only sold tickets worth $50 and $100. Balwinder Singh, the owner, says he usually sells about 200-300 tickets a day.

The winning numbers are 1,6, 13, 45, 47 and mega number 16. Winners have 180 days to claim their prize, beginning at 8 a.m. Monday. Balwinder Singh will get half of 1 percent of the winnings for the store, or $350,000.

And maybe a little sumpin' sumpin' for people who report it on their blogs?
